Meet the lovely CEO of Ask-Her™ Tax + Bookkeeping from Olds Alberta, Canada.

Shelila Vivier - CEO of Ask-Her™ Tax + Bookkeeping Inc. of Alberta, Canada.

Greetings Everyone; Tanshi. I'm very honoured to meet you. My name is Shelilia Vivier, the proud owner of Ask-Her™ Tax And Bookkeeping Inc.

I look forward to sharing my story and hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

Like most individuals, I was aware of Alberta’s oil recession back in 2014. At that point in my career, I realized that the general public would be creating business like never before in Alberta, Canada.

So I envisioned that the best way to take advantage of this potential economic boom was to become a tax and bookkeeping expert. Since I had been hands-on in the trades industry for several years and had a passion for helping people, I felt that this role would suit me perfectly.

I first began in 2014 as a self-employed entrepreneur, and the following year I formed a sole proprietorship. While running my practice, I accomplished several certificates to enhance my skills and knowledge, enabling me to thrive in the market.

In 2020, I incorporated my practice under the registered name Ask-Her™ Tax + Bookkeeping Inc. As soon as my company’s name was trademarked, I started doing the happy dance because it was a significant milestone for not only my practice but for our team as well.

Having the experience of scaling up a business from scratch helps me empower small to medium-size enterprises to make informed decisions regarding their company’s well-being.

Whether a client is just starting out or already established, my team and I will show them how to set up their company correctly by taking care of bookkeeping, accounting, and tax preparation. It also helps them in their personal lives to plan better for the fiscal tax year-end.

To achieve success, I maintain five core values that underpin my practice.

Firstly, I promote integrity and getting things right the first time. Secondly, collaboration with clients is a crucial component for success, and this starts with internal teamwork. Thirdly, education is vital as I learn from clients and vice versa. Fourthly, I adopt the latest technology to streamline processes. Finally, I maintain open communication as the numbers don’t lie.

I feel very strongly about being honest and believe in being straight up during any conversation. I also attribute my success to being tough-minded, which is essential when facing the uncertainties of business.

The most rewarding part of running my business is saving clients huge sums of money. Seeing the happy smiles on my clients’ faces and the massive glint in their eyes is priceless.

When I’m not crunching numbers, going for a scoot with my husband on his Harley Davidson is the highlight of my day because I love the feel of the wind on my face and the breeze on my back. I believe we all need moments like these in between those busier, more serious moments.

That said, I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.

If you or anyone you may know can benefit from our team's expertise in the Olds, Alberta area, we invite you to contact us.

Thank You; Miigwetch,

Shelilia
